During Play

 

After the break the table is always "open." Categories are not declared until the first ball is legally pocketed after the break. Which ever category of ball is pocketed, the shooter must continue with that category.

 

There will be no "Slop Shots." All shots must be called by indicating the ball and the intended pocket. As long as you hit your ball (solid or strip) first into the called pocket, it doesnt matter how it get's there as long as it goes into the intended pocker. i.e If you call 2ball coner pocket and it hit's off of the 13ball to go in, it's a legal shoot. If you call 2ball coner pocket and it goes off ever rail on the table to go in said coner pocket, it's a legal shoot. The rule is, "called ball intended pocket" (anything outside of that is a foul).
